Strong Growth for Harcourts Indonesia
International real estate group, Harcourts’ Indonesian operations continue to go from strength to strength as the group have recently launched two new offices and celebrated their team’s success at the Annual Awards event.
The opening of the two new offices, Harcourts Galaxy and Harcourts Bandung, further strengthens Harcourts’ position as one of the fastest growing and most dynamic real estate brands in Indonesia.
Tina Sander, Harcourts’ International Operations Manager, is confident that the Harcourts brand will continue to grow and strengthen in Indonesia.
“Our new offices were previously with two of our biggest competitors in Indonesia but decided to join Harcourts due to our unique cultures, training, technology and marketing tools.
“In the last six weeks we’ve had two new offices open and we’ve had more inquiry and interest in our brand than ever before.
“We’re also working with four new offices which we hope to have across in the third quarter of this year. With our team on the ground in Indonesia, we’re likely to hit our office target number in the next few years,” Ms Sander said.
Harcourts Indonesia’s growing culture was also on display at the group’s recent Annual Awards ceremony.
“After speaking with our CEO, Nandar Gunawan, and attending part of the awards via Skype, I’m confident that it was a real celebration of our culture, with everyone proud to be part of the Harcourts brand. This year, there were 190 people in attendance, which is the best result yet. As the brand grows, we’re confident that we’ll get even more people attending next year,” Ms Sander said.
At the event, the Top Three Office award was presented with Harcourts Kelapa Gading taking out first place, Harcourts Alam Sutera winning second place and Harcourts BSD City claiming third place.
Three top agents were also named including Herlisa Burhan of Harcourts Alam Sutera who took out first place, Siaw Mei Sudanto (Erni) of Harcourts Kelapa Gading who won seconds place and Irene Susanto of Harcourts Kelapa Gading who took home third place.
According to Mr Gunawan, the Indonesian market is very promising as a whole.
“Indonesia’s target is to achieve its investment grade category by next year. The impact of this will attract various global investment funds. With low interest rates, the direct impact to consumers will translate to higher purchasing power. Property is no exception and should benefit from this development,” Mr Gunawan said.
