HarcourtsOne Reaches Significant Milestone
Earlier this month Harcourts International rolled out the 100th version of its technology suite, HarcourtsOne.
HarcourtsOne was first rolled out in Australia in 2007 and then launched in New Zealand in 2008. The system is now available in all countries in which Harcourts operates including Fiji, Indonesia, South Africa, China, Hong Kong and the USA.
“Over the past five years, the Harcourts Technology team has updated the HarcourtsOne system 100 times with enhancements based on feedback provided by our sales consultants, property managers, business owners and administrators,” said Jason Wills, Chief Information Officer of Harcourts International.
“Those 100 versions of HarcourtsOne included over 5,000 enhancements to Harcourts’ systems globally.”
HarcourtsOne is a bespoke, cloud-based, one-stop real estate system used to manage properties, financials, CRM, email marketing, and agent and office websites.
While HarcourtsOne celebrates its 100th version, Harcourts International will celebrate another significant milestone in 2013 – the group’s…

Harcourts Technology Services Impress!
Earlier this year, we conducted a survey to uncover how our team view the services we offer them.
Almost 1,100 members of the Harcourts team from Australia and New Zealand completed the survey and the results showed that most were incredibly happy with the work done by the Harcourts Technology, Marketing and eBusiness teams, and the initiatives which they have developed.
When asked what single most important ‘thing’ Harcourts offered to the team, our internal technology suite, Harcourts One was named in the top three products.
Further, when asked which Harcourts products provided the most significant business advantage, Harcourts One, our iPad applications (including Mobile Agent and eCampaign) and CampaignTrack were among the main responses.
The survey also revealed that the vast majority of respondents were incredibly happy with the service provided by the Harcourts Helpdesk.
Within Australia, 87.3 per cent of respondents rated the service provided by the Harcourts…
Harcourts Launches Innovative New Technologies
Harcourts continues to go from strength to strength in all areas, particularly in terms of innovative technology.
July was a massive month for technology at Harcourts. The Mobile Agent application for the iPhone and iPad was officially launched and has so far received extremely positive feedback from the Harcourts team and clients. This is a major step in our technology platform and is something that I am very proud of. The initial Mobile Agent download figures have been great with over 1,500 applications already downloaded. I’m confident that this number will continue to grow over the coming months.
July also saw the official launch of Harcourts’ new marketing platform, Campaign Track. The initial feedback has been excellent and I’m sure that this tool will be of great benefit to the group.
I believe that being at the forefront of new technology is so important and is one of our organisations…

Year opens on a high for Australian property market
2010 is looking up thanks to the 2009 property market year-end figures, one of the most challenging years in the history of the Australian economy. All Australian capital cities recorded strong annual house price increases, which gives us a solid platform for the year ahead.
Last year’s stats showed that Darwin recorded the highest house price increase of approximately 12.3 per cent from the previous year. Melbourne and Canberra followed, with solid price rises of 8.4 per cent and 7.8 per cent during the same period.
Sydney also recorded a house price increase of 5.9 per cent up from the previous year (2008), and prices continued to rise in Brisbane (5.6 per cent), Hobart (5.4 per cent), Perth (4.4per cent) and Adelaide (3.7 per cent) – averaging just 2.2 per cent below the March 2008 peak.
The rise in house values indicates a recovering economy, and is due mainly to…

The New Era of Real Estate Websites!
At Harcourts we have always prided ourselves on being industry leaders when it comes to IT and real estate technology. And occupying this enviable position places on us the obligation of ensuring that we never rest on our laurels – the shear speed of technology growth makes sure of that! One of the results of this continual quest for the best are our new websites, which we have just launched. These new websites were built using the very latest Microsoft platform incorporating Web 2.0 tools and functionality, with large clear photos and easy-to-navigate features. They include open home and auction times, and also have social media options available, so visitors to the site can share their favourite properties with their friends on Facebook, Digg, MySpace, Live, Reddit, Bebo, Delicious, LinkedIn, Blogger, Buzz Up! to mention but a few.
Our new websites (www.harcourts.com.au & www.harcourts.co.nz) also feature a Community…
