Today marks the last day of Conference 2011 and what a massive couple of weeks it’s been. Last week we celebrated the Australian Conference on the sunny Gold Coast, and this week saw the New Zealand Conference in beautiful Rotorua.
This year, we were treated to some truly exceptional keynote speakers including US real estate guru, Bob Wolff, achievement coach, Richard Flint, sales and business performance coach, Richard Robbins, and eight-time kickboxing World Champion, Stan “The Man” Longinidis.
All of our great guest speakers shared their own journeys with us, revealing their tips and insights on achieving personal and professional success.
At this year’s Conference, we really celebrated our success and the growth of our group. Even during uncertain times, Harcourts continues to grow while many of our competitors look to consolidate their operations and downsize their businesses. We have continued to strengthen our position by growing our market share in every market in which we operate.
In the past 12 months, Harcourts has commenced operations in the US, partnered with commercial real estate giant NAI Global to form NAI Harcourts in New Zealand and Australia, have joined forces with regional and rural real estate group Landmark to form Landmark Harcourts in Australia, and have opened many new offices across Australia, New Zealand, China and South Africa.
During Conference it was also announced that The Harcourts Foundation has so far raised a massive $1 million in donations since its establishment in August 2008!
Raising $1 million for charity is an amazing achievement and it’s all down to the support The Harcourts Foundation has received from our team and clients. We hope to keep adding to this total over the coming months and years.
In Australia, we also welcomed Troy and the Charity Challenge team who finished their epic journey, cycling from Melbourne to the Gold Coast to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Victoria and the Queensland Flood Appeal. To cycle 1,700kms in two weeks is amazing and takes courage, commitment and real discipline.
Our annual black tie awards dinners were also outstanding, and a great way to finish one of our best ever Conferences! Congratulations to all the award winners, and I look forward to Conference 2012.
And remember – one team, one moment! How will you create one defining moment for your clients in 2011?
