Jim and Norah Connery, a brother and sister team, have joined forces to bring us the brand new Brock Harcourts Wine Coast office. While Jim has resided in South Australia with his wife Syl and four children, Norah has lived in Western Australia, mostly Broome, and has one child who is currently living abroad.

Jim and his family have always loved the southern coastal region.

“The Fleurieu Peninsula has the lifestyle that we desired. The first year we moved south, we went to the beach every day, rain hail or shine. Some days we just sat in the car looking out at the stormy seas, enjoying hot chips and wondering why we didn’t do this years ago!” he said.

We haven’t explored every pub or cafe, winery or art gallery dotted throughout the Peninsula but we are working on it.”

Jim has operated his own business for twenty years with a strong focus on sales and marketing in the visual communication field, with a particular focus on professional photography.

Sustainable development and energy efficient housing are of particular interest to Jim with the view that these principals are the way of the future. Understanding the motivation for purchasing a little piece of paradise in this area is knowledge that can work for Jim’s clients.

Born in South Australia, Norah has come home to pursue a career in Real Estate after a long absence in the “west”. Norah is down-to-earth with a no-nonsense approach. Her strength is in her ability to connect with people and get the job done.

Norah has spent most of her career as a bookkeeper/office manager/administrator within a number of industries, most recently the mining industry, as well as being self employed. Her interest has always been investment with her property portfolio extending to investment properties in Queensland and Western Australia.

Norah says, “Over the years I have returned home to this area where my brother Jim and his family live and I fell in love with the beautiful coastline, beaches and a wine region that is world class, there is so much happening here I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”

Both Jim and Norah have extensive knowledge in business and are thrilled to be part of Brock Harcourts.

“Our plan is to be a strong player in the local Real Estate market, get out into the community and have a bit of fun,” they said.
