Harcourts Unlimited opens in Blacktown
February 25th, 2010Harcourts is proud to announce the opening of its newest office, Harcourts Unlimited in Blacktown.
Harcourts Unlimited has been opened by the very experienced real estate local, Andrew Chrysanthou.
Andrew Chrysanthou commenced his real estate career in his home town of Blacktown in 2003, in an office that rebranded to Harcourts. In a very short time Andrew worked his way from real estate rookie to the number 1 spot, awarded Sales Consultant of the year for 2005, 2006 and 2007.
In 2008, Andrew joined Harcourts NSW Head Office as Franchise Development Manager and worked hard to grow Harcourts offices from 22 to 38 offices in just one year!
In early 2009, missing his home town and wanting to get back to his first love, real estate sales, Andrew again started selling property in the local area, working closely with another local Harcourts office. This month Andrew has opened the doors of his own office, Harcourts Unlimited…

February 23rd, 2010Harcourts has launched an iPhone application for its news centre at the company’s Business Leaders Conference last week.
Managing Director for Harcourts Mike Green said the company’s motto for 2010 is ‘one team – in touch’, which will be woven throughout all actions by all Harcourts employees.
“Technology is now making it easier and easier for us to communicate with our audience.
“Our team is constantly utilising this technology to ensure we are operating in all channels of communication,” Mr Green said.
“While last year we focused heavily on upgrading our websites and internal communication tools, this year we are focusing intensely on new media and social media,” he said.
The iPhone application is the latest communications technology to be developed as part of the yearlong campaign to keep both the Harcourts team and wider community updated with all exciting news and information.

Buyers are hedging their bets in NSW in 2010
February 5th, 20102010 is bringing with it a comeback in the real estate market. Suburbs that saw the greatest drop in value over the past couple of years are really starting to come back. Overall, NSW’s property market is about to enter a year of solid growth.
In 2009, the First Home Buyer’s grant stimulated the property sector throughout the global financial crisis, encouraging many first home buyers to get into the market and take advantage of the increased incentives.
Harcourts New South Wales, CEO, Chris Stephandellis said this first home owner’s rush produced a downside.
“Due to the increased competition in the market place, there was a spike in the market, with many sales exceeding asking prices particularly in the Bathurst area,” he said.

Harcourts’ Charitable Foundation Reaches Two Significant Milestones
November 30th, 2009The Harcourts Foundation has just announced it has reached two very important milestones simultaneously; $400,000 in donations and 100 Harcourts offices signed up in support, with both milestones being achieved in the last month.
The Harcourts Foundation was set up just over a year ago, with the aim of providing financial support that helps, grows and enriches local communities, and in that short time has already received over $400,000 in donations from various fundraising events, auctions and Harcourts office support across Australia and New Zealand.
Together with the funds donated to the Red Cross Victorian Bush Fire Appeal earlier this year, The Harcourts Foundation has donated over $265,000 to 41 charities in its first year of operation.

Important Changes to Harcourts NSW State Team
November 27th, 2009The well known Harcourts brand has today announced some exciting changes to their NSW support team and structure.
Walter Nanni is taking on the newly created role of General Manager, and he has confirmed his intention to take up a substantial shareholding in Harcourts NSW, ensuring his commitment and longevity in the Harcourts family.
This change is significant to the growth of Harcourts and the NSW State Team and capitalises on Mr Nanni’s strength in recruiting quality offices into the group, which will become his major focus.
In conjunction with this change, Harcourts International has appointed Chris Stephandellis as the CEO of Harcourts NSW, commencing this month.

The office was presented with six impressive awards at the recent Awards Function held at Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour.

Dougmal Harcourts Oak Flats Takes Out Prestigious Awards
November 27th, 2009Dougmal Harcourts Oak Flats has exceeded all expectations at the recent Harcourts New South Wales Quarterly Awards function.
The office was presented with ten impressive awards at the recent Annual Awards Function, among those awards; 2nd place Property Management Excellence Award of the Quarter, 3rd place Top Office, (Total Gross Revenue), and Winner Top Office (Total Gross Revenue per Sales Consultant).
Deb Cummins was presented four awards on the night, achieving Top Sales Consultant, and her Ruby Award representing a personal sales milestone. Harcourts Bikies Raise Money For Their Local Community
November 18th, 2009Local Macarthur real estate bosses ditched their suits and slipped into their riding leathers to raise money for their local communities. Wayne Aiken, Managing Director of Dougmal Harcourts Glenfield and Chris Stephandellis, CEO of Harcourts NSW donated a once in a lifetime experience to the Harcourts Foundation Charity.
Don Elsey from Harcourts Ingleburn Real Estate was the winning bidder of a 1.5 hour Harley ride from Moorebank to La Perouse with the Liverpool Harley Owners Group. Mr Elsey treated his Sales and Marketing Executive, Dane Young, to this experience, and both men had a brilliant time.
Over 50 roaring Harley Davidson bikes took part in this ride, including Mr Aiken of and Mr Stephandellis. They enjoyed a spectacular day cruising around some of Sydney’s greatest spots and were certainly heard by the locals.
