Harcourts launches into Beaconsfield
February 26th, 2010Harcourts is more than proud to announce the opening of its newest office, Harcourts Beaconsfield, which opened its doors to the public last week.
Local real estate agents Brad Nicholls and Silvio Pahor began negotiations at the end of last year and have now seen their dream become a reality.
Brad Nicholls is also the business owner of the award winning Harcourts Berwick, bringing significant experience to this new joint venture.
Both owners have been in the industry for approximately 15 years, and are excited about the strategic entering of the Beaconsfield market.

February 23rd, 2010Harcourts has launched an iPhone application for its news centre at the company’s Business Leaders Conference last week.
Managing Director for Harcourts Mike Green said the company’s motto for 2010 is ‘one team – in touch’, which will be woven throughout all actions by all Harcourts employees.
“Technology is now making it easier and easier for us to communicate with our audience.
“Our team is constantly utilising this technology to ensure we are operating in all channels of communication,” Mr Green said.
“While last year we focused heavily on upgrading our websites and internal communication tools, this year we are focusing intensely on new media and social media,” he said.
The iPhone application is the latest communications technology to be developed as part of the yearlong campaign to keep both the Harcourts team and wider community updated with all exciting news and information.

Cranbourne real estate agent a star at Harcourts awards night
February 12th, 2010At the recent Harcourts real estate industry awards, Cranbourne local Paul Smyth picked up two awards, ‘best performing lister’ and ‘top sales consultant – income to office’ for the quarter.
The Harcourts Cranbourne office also achieved second place in the top office category for gross revenue.
Paul is a sales consultant at the Harcourts Cranbourne office and has been a top performer there for the last few years.
Harcourts Victoria CEO Brent Pullar said the evening was a great success, with fantastic achievements by all award winners.

Frankston leading the charge at Harcourts awards
February 12th, 2010At the recent Harcourts real estate industry awards, Frankston local Aaron Froling picked up the ‘top sales consultant’ award while the office dominated, winning best office for gross revenue.
The award for ‘top sales consultant’ is measured on the number of settled sales achieved by the consultant in the quarter, and Aaron had a dominating win for Frankston.
This is coupled with the convincing win the Frankston office had at the Victorian awards, achieving the best performing office in gross revenue.
Harcourts Victoria CEO Brent Pullar said the evening was a great success, with fantastic achievements by all award winners.

Consumer Affairs approves Harcourts Academy as Registered Training Provider in Victoria
February 11th, 2010Consumer Affairs Victoria is well known for its strict policy and quality control surrounding training providers in the business arena.
Harcourts Academy training is often regarded as setting the benchmark for the entire real estate industry.
Already operating successfully as an RTO in all other states of Australia, the Harcourts Academy is excited to have been selected as a quality provider for Victoria.
Based in Melbourne, the RTO ran its first Agent Representative Course last week, with significant positive feedback from attending students.

Top sales consultants announced at prestigious Harcourts awards
January 29th, 2010Harcourts Queensland last night announced the top sales consultants of the quarter (Oct-Dec 2009), and all three hail from South East Queensland.
Grant Stephens of the Sorrento/Benowa office on the Gold Coast was top consultant in October. He has become a business owner of this particular office and is hoping to continue his success this year.
Carmen Briggs of the Inner West won top consultant in November, achieving stellar results for the inner Brisbane area.
Jim Ryan of Coorparoo achieved the great honour of top consultant in December, blitzing sales in his area throughout the month.

January 28th, 2010The Harcourts Croydon office today opened its doors, having been refreshed, revitalised and renewed, and the new owners are looking forward to servicing the Croydon area.
Narelle Dorney, David Hooper, Gary Seaye and Steve Williamson have joined forces to make the Harcourts Croydon office one of the top real estate agencies in the area.
The four owners met at a competing agency, and because of their expertise in their respective fields, jointly decided to establish their own business.

Harcourts’ Charitable Foundation Reaches Two Significant Milestones
November 30th, 2009The Harcourts Foundation has just announced it has reached two very important milestones simultaneously; $400,000 in donations and 100 Harcourts offices signed up in support, with both milestones being achieved in the last month.
The Harcourts Foundation was set up just over a year ago, with the aim of providing financial support that helps, grows and enriches local communities, and in that short time has already received over $400,000 in donations from various fundraising events, auctions and Harcourts office support across Australia and New Zealand.
Together with the funds donated to the Red Cross Victorian Bush Fire Appeal earlier this year, The Harcourts Foundation has donated over $265,000 to 41 charities in its first year of operation.
