Harcourts Conference Highly Commended at Australian Event Awards
September 3rd, 2010Real estate group, Harcourts was honoured with a Highly Commended mention in the category of Best Achievement in Entertainment for the Harcourts Conference Launch 2010 yesterday as the Australian Event Awards 2010 finalists were announced.
Harcourts were the only real estate organisation to receive a Highly Commended mention in the finalists’ announcement for the awards which will be hosted by the Australian Centre for Event Management in early October.
Harcourts International Managing Director, Mike Green is extremely proud of this achievement and believes that it is testament to the hard work and dedication of the company’s event management division.

Success at Harcourts VIC Industry Night
September 3rd, 2010Earlier this week, Harcourts Victoria hosted a highly successful Industry Night for existing members of the real estate industry and those interested in a future career in real estate.
The event, which was held at the International of Brighton in Melbourne, attracted over 160 guests including many new people looking to break into the real estate industry.
Doubling as a recruitment drive for Harcourts, many fantastic career opportunities with the company were discussed with those in attendance. Harcourts Victoria Chief Executive Officer, Brent Pullar was pleased to see so many potential new recruits at the event.

Harcourts Clients Impressed by Service Levels
August 16th, 2010Recent survey results have shown that real estate company, Harcourts is gaining favour with sellers as sales consultants are offering more marketing options and highlighting the benefits of selling at auction.
The survey, which was completed by over 500 sellers and property purchasers in July 2010, showed significant positive increases in all service areas since July 2009.
Harcourts received an almost 300 per cent overall increase in repeat vendor business from 7 per cent of respondents having used the company more than once in 2009 to 19 per cent in 2010.
The Harcourts brand is set to keep on growing with an amazing 94 per cent of survey respondents indicating that they would recommend the company to their friends and family, with around 70 per cent indicating that they were ‘highly likely’ to recommend Harcourts.

The Harcourts Foundation Grants $62,200 to 12 Australian Charities
August 9th, 2010The Harcourts Foundation has recently approved funding grants for 12 Australian charities which has added up to a combined total of $62,200.
Established in August 2008, The Harcourts Foundation aims to provide financial support that helps, grows and enriches local communities, and has received well over $685,000 in donations from Harcourts staff, offices and clients around Australia and New Zealand in its first two years of operation.
According to Harcourts International Managing Director, Mike Green, two charities in Queensland will receive a combined total of $19,000, five charities in South Australia will receive a total of $16,200, two charities in Western Australia will receive a total of $15,000, one charity in Victoria will receive a total of $8,000, and two New South Wales based charities will receive a total of $4,000.

Harcourts Epping has now opened its doors
June 22nd, 2010Just last week, Harcourts launched its new office in Epping, making that the 45th Harcourts office to open up in Victoria.
Business owners Robert Ozzimo and Andrew DeSanto are extremely excited about the new business venture.
Mr Ozzimo was born into the real estate industry. He worked for his father’s real estate business while going through university, before entering into business ownership himself.
