Podium finish for ‘Northy’ in Australasian Auction Champs
Harcourts Auctioneer Andrew North battled his way to a podium spot at the end of September, finishing runner up in the 2011 Australasian Auctioneer Championship at the Sofitel in Melbourne.
Andrew was one of five finalists, commanding the judge’s attention, as his theme “magic” made his performance one of the standouts of the night.
A previous Harcourts auction champ and runner up in this year’s REINZ Auction Championship, senior division, Andrew had been training hard, but so to had new Australasian Auction Champs winner Mark Sumich, also from New Zealand.

Hayden Duncan, Colin Hair and Jo Clifford celebrate Colin's 21 years
Business owner of Harcourts’ Hibiscus Coast offices, Colin Hair, celebrated 21 years as a Harcourts franchise owner in August.
After purchasing the Orewa office, Colin went on to purchase two offices in Whangaparaoa then joined forces with now business partner Nick Langdon, in April 2010. This partnership turned a vision into reality with the now aptly named Tandem Realty franchise owning further offices in Warkworth, Mangawhai Heads, Snells Beach and Wellsford.
Colin took on the Harcourts brand and owner role in 1990 and as Harcourts shareholder and Chief Operations Officer Jo Clifford says Colin has had a successful journey.

Tony Jenkins and and the Sales Consultants of Harcourts Southland will celebrate 20 years as a Harcourts franchise on the 16th of August.
The Invercargill based franchise owned by Tony Jenkins has seen Southland grow as a region investing into its economy and fuelling its population for many years.
