Real estate office, Harcourts has officially opened its doors in Geelong, Victoria, and business owner, Donna Ellmer-Buckingham is confident that her business will enjoy great success and long-term growth.

A native of the area, Ms Buckingham was born and raised in Geelong and has over nine years experience working in the local real estate industry.

Given her long and successful history in Geelong, Ms Buckingham has developed a passion for and knowledge of the local area which is unparalleled.

“The real estate market in Geelong is very vibrant and has been for many years. We have a great mix of homes from around $200,000 to well over $1million which means, regardless of the market, we can always cater to buyers. If the market is tight, we can sell to the lower end and when the top end is booming, we can cater to that as well,” said Ms Buckingham.

Located 75kms south-west of Melbourne and with a population of around 161,000, Geelong is Victoria’s second largest city and has enjoyed consistent, long-term growth over the years.

Geelong boasts a vibrant economic climate with numerous industrial precincts, as well as a thriving tourism industry thanks to the city’s picturesque bay-side location.

Ms Buckingham chose to open a Harcourts office due to the company’s strong core values and market leading technologies, as well as its strong market presence and reputation.

With her sights set on a strong and successful future, Ms Buckingham has set some exciting goals for her office in its first 12 months of operation.

“My main goals are to have a great team of staff who love working for Harcourts Geelong, to take good care of our clients, to have a fantastic reputation in the local marketplace, and to achieve great results for our sellers,” said Ms Buckingham.

“In the near future, I would also love to have eight highly trained and skilled sales people with second-to-none knowledge of specific suburbs around Geelong. This will allow me and my team to better serve our clients and concentrate on a bright and prosperous future,” Ms Buckingham said.
