Harcourts Conference Makes a Splash on the Gold Coast
Today marks the last day of the annual Harcourts Conference on the Gold Coast, one of the largest annual real estate industry conferences in Australia.
Commencing on Monday, the nearly 600-strong audience has already been treated to some exceptional keynote speakers including US real estate guru, Bob Wolff, and achievement coach, Richard Flint.
The Conference will finish later today after what is sure to be an exciting keynote presentation by eight-time Kickboxing World Champion, Stan ‘The Man’ Longinidis, before the achievements of Harcourts’ top sales offices, property managers and sales consultants are celebrated at the Harcourts Australia Annual Awards ceremony this evening.
Harcourts International Managing Director, Mike Green is confident that this year’s Harcourts Conference has so far been one of the best yet.
“So far, we’ve heard from some exceptional guest speakers and today will be no different, with Stan Longinidis sharing his experiences and insights this afternoon, before our black tie Australian Annual Awards function this evening,” Mr Green said.
Mr Green reported that over the past 12 months Harcourts has experienced exceptional growth both in Australia and overseas, now with 808 offices in 10 countries.
“In the past 12 months, Harcourts has commenced operations in the US, partnered with commercial real estate giant NAI Global to form NAI Harcourts in Australia and New Zealand, have joined forces with regional and rural real estate group Landmark to form Landmark Harcourts, and have opened more than 40 new offices in Australia, New Zealand, China and South Africa.
“We have continued to strengthen our position by growing our market share in every market in which we operate. Even during uncertain times, Harcourts continues to grow while many of our competitors look to consolidate their operations and downsize their businesses,” Mr Green said.
In addition, it was also announced that the company’s charitable arm, The Harcourts Foundation has so far raised a massive $1 million in donations since its establishment in August 2008.
“Raising $1 million for charity is an amazing achievement and it’s all down to the support The Harcourts Foundation has received from our team and clients. We hope to keep adding to this total over the coming months and years.
“Being able to support our local communities is incredibly important to Harcourts as they have supported us so strongly over the years,” Mr Green said.
“This year’s Conference has been fantastic so far and has given us a chance to celebrate the strength of our brand,” Mr Green Continued.
