Real estate group, Harcourts New South Wales have set the tone for a big year ahead by hosting its inaugural Kick Start event.

Kick Start 2012 is a brand new program targeted at agents, property managers and business owners, and is designed to get them focused and motivated for the year ahead.

Sadhana Smiles, Chief Executive Officer of Harcourts New South Wales, secured one of the world’s top brand strategists, Ross Smith from MindShelf (www.mindshelf.com) to speak at the event.

“Mr Smith has a unique way of getting people to understand their brand’s DNA – namely, the brand’s management, company, culture, products and services, and how these are packaged and delivered to the customer,” Ms Smiles said.

During his keynote address, Mr Smith discussed how to develop a trusted brand in the marketplace as sales agents, property managers or principals, as well as how trusted brands have the power to inspire, bind, attract and retain both quality staff and clients.

As well as Mr Smith’s keynote address, three members of the Harcourts New South Wales group led an exciting panel discussion.

The Kick Start panellists for 2012 included Garth Makowski, Principal of Dougmal Harcourts Campbelltown, Kate Towerton, Property Management Director of Harcourts Hills Living, and Michael Garside, Principal of Dougmal Harcourts Dapto.

The panellists shared the systems and strategies they have put in place to ensure they have a highly successful 2012. Some of the key issues discussed were how important it is that businesses have a well thought out business plan implemented and that staff are held accountable.

“The event was an incredible success and should really set the tone for the year ahead. It was fantastic to be able to attract someone of Ross Smith’s calibre and the knowledge which he shared will be invaluable to our team,” Ms Smiles added.

The event was held on Thursday the 16th of February at the St George Motor Boat Club in Sans Souci with close to 100 real estate professionals in attendance.
