Late last week, real estate group, Harcourts Western Australia celebrated the success of their top sales consultants, offices and property managers at its Quarterly Awards evening.

The ceremony, which was held at the Burswood on Swan and attended by over 200 guests from Harcourts WA, celebrated the major achievements of the group over the October to December 2011 quarter.

Achievement awards were given to a number of new and existing Sales Consultants and offices from all areas of the state.

Five top Sales Consultants were presented with Platinum Achievement Awards, representing the highest accolade for real estate sales within Harcourts. The winners included Eric Hartanto of Harcourts Applecross, Thomas Massam and Creagh Ferdinands of Harcourts Alliance Joondalup, and Lee Perry and Clare Seamer of Harcourts Mandurah.

Sales offices, Harcourts Alliance Joondalup and Harcourts Mandurah were also presented with Platinum Achievement Awards in recognition of their efforts throughout the quarter.

As well as honouring the achievements of the Harcourts WA team, a fundraising auction was also held at the event in order to raise money for The Harcourts Foundation Kokoda Challenge.

The Challenge will see a group of 20 ordinary people embark on an extraordinary journey as they attempt to conquer the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea on the 70th anniversary of the Anzacs in an endeavor to raise money for BeyondBlue.

Throughout the event, over $8,600 was raised as wine packages, restaurant vouchers, advertising packages and even a motorbike helmet was auctioned off.

Stuart Cox, Chief Executive Officer of Harcourts Western Australia, said the event was a great success.

“Despite the current market challenges and the Christmas holiday period, we’ve had a truly fantastic quarter and it was great to be able to celebrate it with the Harcourts WA team. I’m proud of all the winners and it’s great to be able to celebrate their achievements every quarter,” Mr Cox said.

“WA’s property market is showing the early signs of recovery and I’m confident that, as a business, we’ll have a fantastic year ahead,” Mr Cox added.
