Hobart – the Latest Apple of NAI Harcourts’ Eye

In a positive move that will result in the ability to provide the full spectrum of commercial real estate services across Tasmania, NAI Harcourts has established an office in Hobart.

“It is with a real sense of excitement that we are launching NAI Harcourts Hobart this week,” said Chris Nicholl, CEO of NAI Harcourts.

“The opening represents a tremendous acquisition of skills to the group and provides an augmentation to the business in Tasmania, which commenced a little over twelve months ago in Launceston. The outstanding success of the business in the north of Tasmania has undoubtedly given us a confidence to accelerate our strategy to build on our presence here”.

“I am confident about the trajectory of the business in Tasmania and the opening of an office in Hobart will not only increase the geographic coverage of the business, but also add skills, knowledge and experience to the whole business,” Mr Nicholl continued.

“The Hobart presence of NAI Harcourts will also add to the considerable presence of the Harcourts brand in the residential and rural sectors in Tasmania and Australia”.

Warrick Hobart, Managing Director of NAI Harcourts Hobart, said that he was looking forward to the challenge of working in Hobart, a market where he sees real opportunities.

“My background has seen me develop broad property experience as a Sydney agency director, on the client side as head of real estate for Caltex Australia and more recently as a property consultant with a number of organisations including TNT, Finsia and Transpacific,” Mr Hobart said.

Director of NAI Harcourts Launceston, Candice Gillies said, “The opening of the Hobart office sees the fulfilment of what was always in our planning -  to operate two offices in the major centres of Tasmania, servicing not only the local needs of clients but delivering state-wide property services for national clients, large private clients and government agencies”.

NAI Harcourts continues to grow its presence in Australia where it now operates in 70 locations across Australia and New Zealand as a member of NAI Global, the fifth largest commercial real estate agency group in the world.
