Harcourts Announces New Australian Group Operations Manager
Mike Green, Managing Director of Harcourts International, has announced the appointment of Marcus Williams to the role of Operations Manager for Harcourts Group Australia.
Mr Williams, who has lead Harcourts’ finance arm, Mortgage Express since 2011 and Harcourts’ commercial division, NAI Harcourts since 2012, will be responsible for the growth, management and profitability of Harcourts’ business operations throughout Australia.
Working directly with the Australian state CEOs, Mr Williams’ objective is to ensure Harcourts continues to increase its market coverage and market share across Australia.
Mr Williams will also work directly with the leaders of Harcourts’ various brands and business units across Australia including Landmark Harcourts and Harcourts Complete, as well as the events and communications functions, to drive results in these areas.

Harcourts Ends 2012 on a High
2012 will end on a high for Harcourts as recent survey results reveal that the group’s clients are impressed with their real estate service offerings.
The survey was completed externally by over 1,200 respondents who had either bought or sold property through Harcourts over the past 12 months and shows positive increases in all customer service areas.
The year to date results show that 94 per cent of respondents would recommend Harcourts to a friend or family member, a slight increase from 93 per cent in 2011.
Managing Director of Harcourts International, Mike Green says these figures are encouraging given that repeat and referral business is crucial to growth and development in the real estate industry.

Harcourts Opens State-Of-The-Art Corporate Office
Harcourts celebrated the official opening of its new, state-of-the-art corporate support office in Brisbane last week with an exclusive launch event.
Queensland Premier, Campbell Newman attended the event to officially open the new building located in the Trade Coast Central commercial precinct in Eagle Farm.
“We feel that the opening of our new support office reflects our commitment not only to our group and our Queensland team but also to Queensland itself, and it was an honour to have Premier Campbell Newman at the launch to officially open it,” said Mike Green, Managing Director of Harcourts International.
The cocktail function was also attended by the Harcourts corporate team, businesses owners, sponsors and suppliers, and members of the Harcourts International board.

Imran Poladi Joins Harcourts USA
High profile Californian real estate professional, Imran Poladi has recently joined the Harcourts USA corporate team to manage the group’s franchise expansion alongside CEO, Aaron Hodson.
Formally a Team Leader and CEO with Keller Williams, one of the USA’s largest real estate networks, Imran has over 10 years of experience in the industry and has sold over 700 properties during his career.
In 2010, Imran was elected the Chairman of the Stockton Council (a division of the Central Valley Association of Realtors) leading nearly 2,000 realtors and was also awarded the honour of Realtor of the Year.
Imran also attended Harcourts’ national conference in May this year in Auckland and on the Gold Coast as a keynote speaker where he shared his secrets on building a high volume business.

The Harcourts Foundation Grants $39,000 to Charity
Eight Australian-based charities have received funding grants totalling $39,411 as part of the latest round of funding grants from The Harcourts Foundation.
In Queensland, a grant of $3,051 was provided to the Caboolture Regional Domestic Violence Service, $4,560 was granted to Supporting Chemotherapy in Cooloola, and $15,000 was provided to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International.
A $5,000 grant was provided to the Nature Foundation South Australia and a further $1,000 was granted to Life Education South Australia.
Two charities in Tasmania also received funding grants including the University of Tasmania Foundation for $5,000 and the Edmund Rice Camps Tasmania for $4,000.
In Western Australia, the Breast Cancer Network Australia also received a funding grant of $1,800.

Harcourts’ Conference Kicks Off with a Bang
Today marks the final day of real estate giant, Harcourts’ annual Conference on the Gold Coast, one of the largest real estate industry events in Australia.
