On the back of this week’s official interest rate cut, Marcus Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Mortgage Express Australasia, has encouraged Australian borrowers to consider their current financial position.
“Many Australian lenders are yet to pass on this month’s interest rate cut to consumers. For those mortgage holders whose banks don’t pass on the savings, now may be an opportune time for them to reevaluate their financial positions and consider switching lenders,” Mr Williams said.
“By speaking to an experienced mortgage broker and discussing the options available, mortgage holders could end up savings hundreds of dollars each year on their loan,” Mr Williams continued.
