Queensland steals the show at Harcourts Conference

Harcourts recently held its annual conference on the Gold Coast, which culminated in the prestigious national awards evening where Queensland scooped up the major awards.

Top Sales Consultant in Australia and Internationally for residential, Jim Ryan

The much anticipated Top Sales Consultant in Australia category was awarded to none other than Harcourts Coorparoo’s Jim Ryan.

Jim topped his previous efforts this year when he was recognised as Number 1 not only in Australia but Internationally for the group from over 3,000 fellow professionals.

Harcourts Redcliffe was a force to be reckoned with on the night, picking up second place in the Top Australian Property Management – Revenue category, and most impressively, first place for Top Australian Auction Office.

Representing the Gold Coast, Grant Stephens from Harcourts Sorrento-Benowa won Top Australian Marketing Budget for his fantastic campaigns.

Meanwhile, Harcourts Brisbane City Sales and Rentals business owner, Lucas Wilson was awarded Top Australian Auction Lister of the Year – a major coup for Lucas.

Harcourts’ Alisha Hobart will make history in the REIV Senior Auctioneer’s Competition

Harcourts Frankston’s very own auctioneer, Alisha Hobart is the first ever female finalist to make the Real Estate Institute of Victoria’s open final.

The REIV Senior Auctioneer’s Competition will be held be held on Wednesday 7 July at the Arts Centre in Melbourne, and has five competitors set to take the challenge from around the state.

Harcourts auctioneer, Alisha Hobart said the heats were extremely competitive, and it was refreshing to see three females enter the competition.

“I’m very proud to be the first female ever to make the finals. I now have a month to prepare for the event, and will be working my hardest to ensure my performance is the best it can be,” Ms Hobart said.

At just 30 years of age, Ms Hobart has been an auctioneer for only two years, and she is already at a national level of excellence in the profession.

Harcourts Queensland celebrates Gold Coast’s top performers

Though the year has been fraught with unpredictable market activity, a number of real estate professionals in Queensland have taken the opportunity to shine, and their achievements were celebrated at the Harcourts Queensland Annual Awards event over the weekend.Group shotweb

The Gold Coast was represented well, with four consultants and three offices receiving recognition that evening.

Grant Stephens from Harcourts Sorrento-Benowa Prestige was awarded fourth place in Harcourts Queensland’s Top Residential Sales Consultant category. Mr Stephens also picked up the Gold Coast Bulletin ‘top agent’ Award.

Mr Stephens, who is the business owner of Harcourts Sorrento-Benowa Prestige along with wife Cassandra, has been a sales consultant for many years, consistently achieving awards at the quarterly and annual awards functions at Harcourts each year.

Another highlight was winner Joseph Codianni from Harcourts Commercial Gold Coast. He was awarded Top Commercial Sales Consultant for the third year in a row.

Brisbane scooped up awards at Harcourts Queensland annual awards evening

Though the year has been fraught with unpredictable market activity, a number of real estate professionals in Queensland have taken the opportunity to shine, and their achievements were celebrated at the Harcourts Queensland Annual Awards event over the weekend.

The greater Brisbane area was represented well, with several agents and offices scooping up awards on the night.

Jim Ryan from Harcourts Coorparoo was awarded first place in Harcourts Queensland’s Top Residential Sales Consultant category.

Mr Ryan is a veteran in the real estate industry. He has been a sales consultant for nearly 30 years, and is no stranger to this award having won it several times in the last five years.

Second and third in the Top Residential Sales Consultant category also went to Brisbane sales consultants, Carmen Briggs from Harcourts Inner West and John McLeod from Harcourts Bulimba respectively.

Harcourts Launceston shines at the Tasmanian 2010 awards

Harcourts Launceston was victorious at the recent Harcourts Tasmania Annual Awards evening.

Co-directors, Tony Morrison, Kate Littlejohn and Jeremy Wilkinson lead their team on a night of triumph, beginning with the office taking out the Top Office Revenue Award.

Office individuals then received further accolades with Jeremy Wilkinson being awarded

Property Consultant of the Year, Top Exclusive Lister of the Year and David Hernyk Rising Star of the Quarter.

The awards were presented at the annual Harcourts Gala Awards function held at the Grand Chancellor in Hobart and coincided with the inaugural Harcourts Foundation Charity Auction, where over $10,475 was raised on the night.

The Harcourts Foundation was established in 2008, with the aim of providing financial support that helps, grows and enriches local communities.

Harcourts picks up awards at LeadingRE conference

Last week Harcourts was present at Leading Real Estate Companies of the World’s (LeadingRE) annual conference in Las Vegas, picking up two awards and an honourable mention.

Harcourts Managing Director Mike Green and Head of Marketing and Communications David Martin went to the conference, where David was a guest speaker to the 850 delegates in attendance.

This year, Harcourts achieved third place in the Top Luxury Brokerage award, which is a fantastic achievement in an international forum.

David Martin said the award recognises the company that best exemplifies the overall luxury market presence, high price point expertise and outstanding marketing strategy in the real estate industry.

“We are proud to have been recognised by LeadingRE for our achievements, and look forward to the year ahead in order to further improve our marketing initiatives,” Mr Martin said.

Baulkham Hills shines at Harcourts awards – Castle Hill gains new star

Recently at the Harcourts quarterly awards night, the Harcourts Baulkham Hills office was proud to receive the award for top office in terms of gross revenue.

On the back of the offices success, business owners Andrew Drane and Chris De Celis are launching a new office in Castle Hill next week.

Owner Andrew Drane said the awards evening was a fantastic showcase of Harcourts’ strength in the New South Wales market.

“I am proud of Harcourts Baulkham Hill’s achievement. Our office has achieved a 20 per cent increase in revenue over the past 12 months despite tough conditions, which was an amazing feat in itself,” Mr Drane said.

“I think this award gave us an added confidence about expanding into Castle Hill,” he said.

“The business model used for the Baulkham Hills office is incredibly successful, so we wanted to emulate this in the Castle Hills area.

Campbelltown home to real estate star

At Harcourts’ recent quarterly awards, Campbelltown’s Garth Makowski cleaned up, receiving four awards for his excellence in the real estate industry.

Garth was awarded top exclusive lister, two awards for top sales consultant (one based on settled sales, and the other based on income to office), and he also received the award for top marketing budget.

Garth said it was a real honour to receive these four awards, and it was a tribute not only to his success but to the stability of the Campbelltown market.

“I have been in the industry for 18 years and have been a Principal of the Harcourts Campbelltown office for several years. I want to continue achieving these dominating results in the years to come,” he said.
